Miftakhova Morrell Architects is an architecture practice established in Gordonsville, Virginia. We believe in creating experiential spaces through intense studies of material, light, and form. In each project, we interrogate the nature of place with the goal of creating architecture that is deeply contextual and engaging to the user's senses, emotions, and memory. Our practice is design intensive with a passion for careful detailing, and we value a close relationship with craftsmen and builders throughout the project. Our design process and research balances handcraft and computational modeling. Across all scales, we are dedicated to a rigorous study of form and detail.
